Gala Night Prize Entry Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions: VIP Draw / Main Draw 1 (MD1) / Main Draw 2 (MD2)/ Main Draw 3 (MD3)

1. Eligibility:
1.1. The Store Promotional Prize Lottery (the "Lottery") is open to all customers aged 18 or over, who make a purchase within the store during the specified promotional evening (the "Promotional Period").
1.2. Employees of A de Gruchy & Co Ltd are not eligible to participate.

2. Promotional Period:
2.1. VIP Draw: The Promotional Period for the Lottery is between the hours of 16:00 and 21:00 on the date of Wednesday 15th November, 2023.
2.2. MD1: The Promotional Period for the Lottery is between the hours of 16:00 and 17.30 on the date of Wednesday 15th November, 2023.
2.3. MD2: The Promotional Period for the Lottery is between the hours of 17:31 and 18.30 on the date of Wednesday 15th November, 2023.
2.4. MD2: The Promotional Period for the Lottery is between the hours of 18:31 and 19.45 on the date of Wednesday 15th November, 2023.
2.5. Entries into the Lottery will only be accepted for purchases made during the Promotional Period.

3. Entry Method:
3.1. VIP Draw: Enter your full name and contact telephone number onto your VIP Invitation tear-off entry ticket, and hand in to one of our greeters as you enter the store.
3.2. Make a purchase on your de Gruchy Account Card during the promotional period to be entered into the draw.
3.3. Only one draw entry per customer.
3.4. All data will be retained for a period of 28 days after the promotional period. Your personal data may be shared with Jersey Gambling Commission in accordance with its licencing policies.
3.5. MD1 / MD2 / MD3: Each purchase made within the store during the Promotional Period entitles the purchaser to one entry into the prize draw.
3.6. Please provide your full name, contact telephone number, and email address onto each entry ticket provided.
3.7. Please place all completed entry tickets into the draw entry boxes located around the store.
3.8. All data will be retained for a period of 28 days after the promotional period. Your personal data may be shared with Jersey Gambling Commission in accordance with its licencing policies.

4. Prize Draw:
4.1. VIP Draw: The prize draw will take place on Monday 20th November 2023.
4.2. All eligible entries will be entered into the draw by electronic means, the winning name will be randomly generated by a suitable software programme.
4.3. MD1 / MD2 / MD3: The prize draws will take place 5 minutes after the end of the Promotional Period.
4.4. All eligible entries will be entered into a tombola, and winning tickets will be selected randomly.
4.5. The prize being drawn for will be announced prior to each winning ticket being pulled from the tombola.
4.6. The cut off for entry to each draw will be the end of the promotional period.
4.7. The prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
4.8. The winner will be notified by phone, or in person at the discretion of A de Gruchy & Co Ltd.
4.9. If the winner cannot be reached within 21 days, a new winner will be selected.

5. Prize:
5.1. The prizes for this Lottery will be specified in advance and will be awarded as described.
5.2. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or alternative prize will be offered.

7. General Conditions:
7.1. By participating in the Lottery, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

8. Release and Limitation of Liability:
8.1. By entering the Lottery, participants release A de Gruchy & Co Ltd, its employees, and affiliates from any liability arising from their participation in the Lottery or the use of the prize.
8.2. A de Gruchy & Co Ltd is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages related to the Lottery.

9. Governing Law:
9.1. The Lottery and these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of Jersey, Channel Islands, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jersey, Channel Islands. By participating in the Store Promotional Prize Lottery, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you read and understand them before entering the Lottery.
